Non sono esperto di niente, né di economia, né di medicina, né tanto meno di politica, sono un’incompetente come molti di noi ma penso di saper riflettere e perciò ho elencato qui 10 spunti personali riguardo al nostro caro amico vip COVID 19:
1. Covid 19 è una delle cose più democratiche che abbia visto recentemente. Che tu sia ricco, povero, semplice lavoratore o capo di stato, atleta milionario o semplice dilettante, lui non fa distinzione, ti colpisce allo stesso modo.
2. L’economia di oggi è il classico “gigante dai piedi d’argilla”: 3 mesi di pseudo-blocco e siamo già come nel dopoguerra, peccato che ai tempi avevamo attraversato 5 anni di guerra mondiale. 3 mesi contro 5 anni…
3. La politica italiana mi delude da quando ho capito che cosa fosse. Bene, per fortuna non siamo soli, fra gli stati “nostri amici” non ho visto governanti che vorrei nel mio paese.
4. L’informazione mai come oggi è stata confusa e contraddittoria, ho sentito tutto e il contrario di tutto. Forse prima di dire come stanno le cose bisognerebbe sapere come stanno le cose. Tanto è una banale influenza…
5. La lamentela è l’anima del nostro paese, qualunque decreto, normativa, o semplice regola, viene più commentata che seguita, sempre. A volte sarebbe giusto stare in silenzio e ascoltare. Un mio amico in Australia, che mi sentiva lamentare, una volta mi disse “stop complaining, rules are rules”. Giusto per riportare un commento ad una regola molto polemizzata: li avete visti correre anche voi vero? Con le tute anni 80 della kappa, secondo voi da quanto non correvano?
6. Chi ci ha aiutato? Albania, Cuba, Russia, e Cina. Non aggiungo altro (vedi punto 3).
7. Social – parte 1. Mark Zuckerberg ha creato un social network perché la gente si facesse i fatti degli altri, non per trasformare perfetti incompetenti nei massimi esperti di tuttologia, impegnati a dire la loro su ogni maledetta cosa. Andate all’università, lì ci sono i professori, quelli veri.
8. Social – parte 2. Le stesse persone che, facendo aperitivi, hanno detto #MILANONONSIFERMA sono quelle che appena tornate da un weekend chissà dove, la mattina dopo scrivevano #IORESTOACASA, rincarando la dose con #CAPITELO. E via di challenge, mascherine, storie, storie e ancora storie mentre fate la pizza, o la SPESA. Ve lo do io un #… #MIAVETEFRACASSATOLEPALLE.
9. L’umiltà, questa sconosciuta ormai nel mondo. Un errore, un complotto, un pipistrello, la natura, insomma scegliete voi la causa, sta di fatto che una piccola particella ci ha messo al tappeto. Voi arroganti, che vi sentite sopra la legge, voi che passate sopra tutto e tutti per i soldi, voi che sperperate, voi che vi credete invincibili…avete capito quanto siete insignificanti? Quanto siete uguali agli altri?
10. Però va beh, tanto il Coronavirus è in Cina, tanto è a Codogno, tanto è in Veneto, tanto è in zona ma non nel mio paese, e poi…e poi il COVID è a casa mia. Quello che vedo in TV è in casa mia. A quel punto tutto quello che hai detto, quello che hai pensato, tutto cambia. Mentre la malattia si evolve non conta più il lavoro, il non vedere gli amici, il campionato, la discoteca, le vacanze. Conta solo la chiamata della rianimazione che alle ore 15:00, tutti i giorni come una sentenza, ti aggiorna sulle condizioni di qualcuno a te caro. E lì ti ricordi cosa conta veramente: la salute, l’affetto, la famiglia, la vicinanza delle persone e la semplicità. SE E SOLO SE capiremo che questo è quello che conta nella vita, allora sì che #ANDRATUTTOBENE.

Thoughts of an incompetent
I’m an expert of nothing, none of what I’m gonna talk about here, neither economy nor medicine and of course nor politics as well, I’m an incompetent as many others out there, but I can think, and therefore I’m going to list 10 personal opinions about COVID 19:
1. Covid 19 is one of the most democratic things I have ever seen recently. Rich, poor, basic worker or chief of state, millionaire athlete or simple amateur, it doesn’t care, it hit you in the same way, no discriminations at all.
2. Today’s economy is the classic “giant with clay feet”. 3 months of pseudo-interruption and we already are like in the aftermath of world war II, except the world war II lasted for 5 years. 3 months vs 5 years…
3. Italian politics disappoints me since I understood what it was. Lucky us we’re not alone, among those who rule our “friendly nations” I’ve not seen anyone I would like to rule mine.
4. Information has never been more confuse and contradictory than it is today, I heard all and its opposite. Maybe before saying how things are you should know how things are. It’s just a simple flu (It has been said) …
5. Complaining is the soul of our country, any law, order, or simple rule, is more commented than followed, always. Sometimes being quiet and listening is the right thing to do. Once, a friend of mine in Australia, who was hearing me complaining, told me “stop complaining, rules are rules”.
6. Who helped us? Albania, Cuba, Russia and China. Leave it at that (see point 3).
7. Social – part 1. Mark Zuckerberg created a social network to allow people to mind others’ own business not to make incompetents great experts of any topics leaving them saying something about anything. You want experts? Real ones? Go to universities.
8. Social – part 2. People who, having a drink in a bar, said #MILANDOESN’TSTOP are the same people who wrote #ISTAYHOME just the next morning they came back from a location somewhere, with a #GOTIT? on top of that. And from there on lots of challenges, face masks, IG stories, stories and stories about you making pizza, shopping etc… I’m gonna give you a # to use…#YOUAREAPAININMYASS
9. Humility, this stranger in our world. A mistake, a conspiracy, a bat, the nature, you can choose the reason, the point is that a tiny particle has been enough to knock us out. You, arrogant, that feel yourself above the law, that don’t care of anything when you see money, that waste, that feel yourself invincible…you, now, understand how insignificant you are, how equal you are compared to the others.
10. But who cares, coronavirus is in China, in Codogno, in Veneto, near here but not in my city, and then…COVID is in my home. The same dude I’ve been watching on my TV is in my home now. And now everything is different, everything you’ve said, everything you’ve thought. As the disease progresses you don’t care about the job, about not meeting your friends, about championship, about disco, about holiday. You are just concerned about the intensive care call you receive every day at 3:00 PM, a call that, like a verdict, update you on the condition of your beloved. And there you remind yourself what is really important: healthy, love, family, people who are close to you and naivete. IF AND ONLY IF we understand that this is what is really important in our life, then #EVERYTHINGISGONNABEALLRIGHT
